Q2 . Chemical into heat
Q3. Typically potential energy is gravitational, but could also be chemical or atomic rest energies.

Enjoy :)

1. the object is not moving therefor it has only potential energy
2. potential energy is being converted into heat energy
3. the difference is that gravitational potential energy specifically refers to objects in orbit or in the air while potential energy refers to any stationary objects

Potential Energy. It is the stored energy in an object or system because of its position or configuration.

Q2: chemical --> heat

Q3: GPE is just a specific kind of PE. Potential energy is just stored energy. Chemicals in batteries store energy that can be converted into electrical energy and consequent radiant energy...light. A compressed spring is stored energy that can be released as kinetic energy to shoot a spit ball across the room. A pond atop a waterfall is stored energy that converts to kinetic energy as the water cascades down the chute.

q2: potential enengy, to thermal energy ( light, heat,) and sound. idk if its classified as kinetic.
