我昨天以郵寄掛號方式,寄出左文件及相片
但上網查資料,發現漏了身份證(正本),另外相片也不知合不合規格
但網頁上寫:
【退還費用】
護照申請如不成功 、屬虛假申請，或中途撤回申請，所繳費用一概不獲退還。
那問題是:
1.我是郵寄掛號,文件會在英國駐香港總領事館初步確認嗎?還是會不拆封再轉寄到英國嗎?(因為網上說明BNO會在英國辦理)
2.如果我提交申請不成功,會收取:簽發一本48頁的成人護照港幣：$1,978嗎?
還是在香港初步確認後,只算上本地的郵寄費用?

1. Your document will be verified in Hong Kong Consulate's Regional Passport Processing Centre (which is under HM Passport Office, not FCO).2. You will be contacted.
Unsuccessful application usually means that you don't hold the eligibility. It does not usually include issues like photo or missing document.
