是的 有些宴會 的小費是事先商量好的 所以這句 有可能是 banquet coordinator在與新娘 洽商的時候用到 不過在餐廳裡的 小費是真的應該是志願役的

Example:

Coordinator: Your tips are too slim (small, little). My staff will sure go out of there way to make you happy if you could just bump them up a little.

Bride: Sure, I will bump them to 18% if there is no incidences in rehearsal, reception, and dinner. And, the corking fees are excluded. Will that be acceptable?

Coordinator: Wonderful, for that, I will throw in an extra course of hors doeuvres for your guests.

Other examples you need to know at the same time:

小費是客人給, 依客人對你服務好壞給, 不是你價額, 怎麼可以說小費太少?他不給也可以。
