What SAT score do I need to make up for my current GPA?

I am going into my junior year and I had between a 3.44 and 3.50 GPA Freshman and Sophomore year. I was in leadership Last year and I am an active Assisteens volunteer member. I am doing a Freshman Mentor program next year and i plan to continue with that as well as work with the drama department as a techie. I am also doing a camp counselor volunteer job this summer and plan to continue. I want to get into a UC specifically UC Santa Barbara and I want to know what SAT score and ACT scores I should be aiming for to even be considered into that school or any other UC.

Since UC's GPA only takes your sophomore and junior grades into consideration, you still have great opportunity to boost up your GPA. The best things to enhance your chance getting in UCSB is to sign up for more rigorous classes (AP and honors you know) and be dedicated to your junior classes. If you were to maintain your current GPA, you might need an SAT score above 2000 in order to be admitted, as the applicant pool is more competitive year after year.

A 3.5 unweighted and a 1710 or higher SAT will give you a shot.
