My computer just got a virus plz help!!!?

Ok so I was just playing an online game and this annoying message kept popping up saying i had a virus or something but I ignored it and restarted my computer. Now I just turned it back on and it is saying my computer has been locked by violating the law of the United States or something...ok it just made a screaming sound or something to scare me so I now know this Is a legit virus...it seriously just scared me. Anyway plz help me fix it. It won't even let me get on my desktop so I can't go into my settings or anything. I just wanna know if there is anything I can do to fix myself before I tell my parents. Plz help

We need more info. Can it be removed from safe mode? info like that, it will help us.

Its a hoax - adds a small program to your system to bring up "scareware" Follow the instructions in the link below to remove it (it's the UK version, but will get rid of it).
