I have a virgin superhub which cost me extra and i used internet speed test and it st around 22mb/s download speed and the ping is amazing. But when it comes to using my internet is sometimes very slow, pages dont load correctly and i cant even buffer videos at 1080p. Even when play online games like league of legends i get major lag spikes or even just permanenet lag for the whole game.
Why is thos happeneing? surely i should not face these problems with a good router and connection.
P.s i am using a wireless usb modem to conntect to the router from my other room.

speed test.net is not a web that tests your download speed by downloading stuff, so it is different from downloading actual real data, and if your computer is low on compute power, you should try chrome, it might make it faster, if not stick with ie.

If you do repeated speed tests and they come out Ok, then surely the fault lies in your hardware. Slow processor or insufficient DRAM. Or a defective element somewhere.

The problem probably lies at the other end with the sites server being overloaded.
