I gave my dad permission to use my credit card to pay his ticket fee?

for a traffic violation.So, will the traffic violation be accountable towards me, since I paid the fee? Will it go to my records for a traffic violation?

To be clear: I did looked for similar questions about someone using someone's else's credit card to pay for a flight ticket or traffic ticket and found that it was ok. I might have done a wrong move here, so that is why I ask this question. No trolls here, please and thanks!
