but anyway, jokes aside.
most doctors will not recommend you to get any contacts not from an Optical store / doctor's office.
(NO, they don't recommend you to get them off 1800contacts either!)

The reason for a doctor to get YOU fitted for contact lenses is, they want to find the right fit for your eyes.
Contact lenses come in different sizes and materials, brands varies. Doctors can best determine what brands and what base curves (sizes) and of course prescriptions you need.

unless you really want the sharingan contacts so you can go to cosplay or something.
people cant really see them unless they pay close attention - people might not notice even sitting across the table from you.

if you need glasses to see, chances are your contacts will have prescriptions too (even though they should be slightly lighter)

I had patients going crazy trying to get a pair of spooky looking contacts for Halloween.
end up nobody noticed them and money wasted.
your parents worked very hard to raise you, don't waste their money on something like those :)
one day you will understand :)
