I am not exactly sure of the first translation "我在條件穩妥後，便會到大學唸書。" "go to university " can mean just "go the the university campus" or "go to study at a university".
The idiom "good and ready" means "completely ready".
The translation can also be :"當我完全準備好之後，便會去大學那裡(唸書)。"
