Yes, in a beta decay (貝他衰變). Neutrons in the nucleus (核子) changes to a proton (質子) and an electron (電子). The lectron is emitted as beta particle (貝他粒子) together with an antineutrino (反中微子).Neutrons and protons are bound together by the strong nuclear interaction force (強作用力), which is the strongest force among the 4 fundamental forces in nature.
