How do I go about getting a job as a golf caddy?

My Uncle's nephew is a golf caddy and he told me that he makes a good amount of money a day and well I think making money on the day is awesome and now think it as an option of work I think it sounds fun. I would like to work as one but I don't know what I have to do in order to be one. Do I just go to or call golf courses and ask if they are looking for caddies, who do I ask, things like those
