Good morning everyone. I will talk about my opinions on Hong Kong's most common family problem today.

Nowadays, the most common family problem is probably not being able to solve the family conflicts smoothly.

- When we read newspapers, we can often find parents arrested because they abused their children during family conflicts.
- These family conflicts happen most likely because the children are not meeting the expectations of their parents.
- In hope of changing their children's behaviour, the parents may try to scold and hit their children. Sometimes, the children would become so irritated and retort, hence enrage their parents who are already in a bad mood.
- The parents may then be so angry that they cannot control themselves and unintentionally abuse their children. When the children are hurt badly and the neighbour calls the police, it is all too late to turn back.
- Actually, these conflicts are preventable if the parents have always had good communication with their children. But sadly, many families in Hong Kong now lack communication among their members.

The reason for such a lack of communication is simple: no time to do so.

In many typical Hong Kong families, both parents need to work in order to earn a living and it is so common that they would not come home until evening. When they come home, they would be so tired that they want to get some rest immediately, neglecting that their children may want to spend some time with them. As a result, the children would feel discouraged from communicating with their parents. Gradually, there will be hardly any communications at all.

One way people can do to improve family life is to spend more time with their families. And perhaps they may also write what they want to say on a whiteboard, so that other family members can see it despite that they do not see each other. It is a good way to maintain communications within a family. Children can also help by being good, for example, finishing all

in these days, family problems are quite serious in hong kong. many families in hong kong have problems which make a bad relationships among them or even their children have a bad memories in their childhood. for the problems, there are actually many examples, such as
- the adults always spent times on working in order to earn money for the family, which is good. but too much work will make people relationship bad. as they were always not at home, they started couldnt believe in their own families, or maybe their children will become really bad as they dont have time to care about them.
- some adults may spent time outside for the whole day but not working, they may be gambbling, as the gambbling problem is quite serious in hong kong. it always make people's family relationships worse beacause the members don't have enough communication with each other.
people can do many activities to improve their family relationships. people can
- go out to have dinner every weekend or have dinner at home together and chat together to know what each other is thinking about.
- spend more time staying at home with families( both adults and children) in order to improve relationship
- have more activities in weekends to have fun and throw everything unhappy away when having fun. families can go to many diferent places in hong kong, or even just a walk near your home
children actually dont have much thing that can do, because its not their business, it may just make the family relationship worse, so the best thing for the children to do is to work hard on their school work and dont upset their parents or families. children could also sometimes try to tell their parents to take them out and have more family fun.
after all, i think the most important is to have enough communication among families. thank you.
