Choose the equation below that represents the line that passes through the point (-2, -1) and has a slope of 5?
I do not understand how you can have a slope of five when it has to reach a negative point. Someone please explain.
Choose the equation below that represents the line that passes through the point (-2, -1) and has a slope of 5.
y - 1 = 5(x - 2)
y + 1 = 5(x + 2)
y + 2 = 5(x + 1)
y - 2 = 5(x - 1)
回答 (3)
y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - (-1) = 5(x - (-2))
y + 1 = 5(x + 2) (second choice)
- .--
y-y1= m(x-x1)
Ans: y+1= 5(x+2)
