請教英文: 扣鈕, 除鈕, 拉埋拉鏈, 拉開拉鏈應該點講?

扣鈕 = button up
除鈕 = unbutton
拉埋拉鏈 = zip up
拉開拉鏈 = unzip

只有 Jenkin 的答案是全對的。信他的啦。

不要太過相信 Google 翻譯。首先你輸入的係口語， Google 唔會幫你譯做書面語，對於 Google 唔當係詞語的字，佢只會單字直譯。所以大家要謓防係 Google 學壞英文，不竟學語文根基好重要。


扣鈕

單一詞語譯成 Button up 最標準。
例： Please button up your clothes. (請把鈕子扣上 / 請扣鈕)

Buttoning 都可以接受，係用法唔同。同一個字有兩個用法，一個係進行式，一個係動名詞 (gerund; 即 verb + ing 使動詞名詞化)
例 (進行式)： The baby is buttoning his clothes. (寶寶正在扣鈕)
例 (gerund): The baby is doing the buttoning himself. (寶寶自己扣鈕)


除鈕 - unbutton

Google 所翻譯的 "in addition to buttons" 其實是解作 "除了鈕子以外"，在英文一般用法為 "in addtion to ......, there are also (something else)". 同解除/解開鈕扣一點關係都没有。


拉埋拉鏈 - zip up 最標準， pull up the zipper / close the zipper 都可以接受

Google 譯的只係單字。
pull = 拉;
buried = 埋 / 埋藏 例： The murderer buried the victim. 兇手把屍體埋藏了。
zipper = 拉鏈 (noun 名詞)


拉開拉鏈 - unzip

Google 譯得的 "zipper pull" 全錯，冇得解釋
