1. Find the partial derivatives of the function
f(x,y) = xye^(2y)

a. ∂ƒ/∂x = ___
b. ∂ƒ/∂y = ___
c. ∂²f/∂y∂x = ___
d. ∂²f/∂x∂y = ___

2. Let f(x,y) = (-(5x + y))^6
a. ∂²f/∂x∂y = ___
b. ∂^3f/∂x∂y∂x = ___
c. ∂^3f/∂x²∂y = ___

for the first question...
a, I got the right answer: y e^(2y)
but for b, I got 2 x e^(2y), which is wrong.
for c, i got (e^(2y))(2y* (e^(2y))), which is wrong.
for d, i got 2 (e^(2y)), which is wrong.

✔ 最佳答案
1 f(x,y) = xye^(2y)

(a) ∂ƒ/∂x = ye^(2y)

(b) ∂ƒ/∂y = x[e^(2y) + 2ye^(2y)] = x(1 + 2y)e^(2y)

(c) ∂²f/∂y∂x = (1 + 2y)e^(2y)

(d) ∂²f/∂x∂y = (1 + 2y)e^(2y)

2(a) f(x,y) = (-(5x + y))^6 = (5x + y)^6

∂ƒ/∂y = 6(5x + y)^5

∂²f/∂x∂y = 150(5x + y)^4

(b) ∂ƒ/∂x = 30(5x + y)^5

∂²f/∂y∂x = 150(5x + y)^4

∂^3f/∂x∂y∂x = 3000(5x + y)^3

(c) ∂^3f/∂x²∂y = 3000(5x + y)^3
