x : 5 = (x + 3) : 6
6x = 5(x + 3)
6x = 5x + 15
x = 15
(b)
x : (x + 3) = (x + 1) : (x + 5)
x(x + 5) = (x + 1)(x + 3)
x² + 5x = x² + 4x + 3
x = 3

Profit that Bobby gets
