About English Grammar

1.The banner was made by myself.
2.The banner was made by me.

Which one is correct and why? Thanks much.

這兩句都是正確,但意思卻有點不同

先說:oneself 和by oneself的用法

如:I will do it myself. (是我會親自去做這事)
但:I will do it by myself.(是我會獨自去做這事)

所以by myself是指我自己獨自去做的意思

1. The banner was made by myself. (可以說是 這旗幟是獨自去做)


2. The banner was made by me.(是說 這旗幟是由我做的)

1.The banner was made by myself.= correct

myself = 我自巳 reflexive pronoun

Tom has made the bookshelf by himself.

The bookshelf has been made by Tom himself.


I am a handsome boy. = subject

This is my book = possessive pronoun

This book is mine = possessive pronoune

This is mine.

Please look at me. - object

Please come with me

Please follow me

文法上兩個都正確。
第一句是 emphasis 是自己做。

2個也是正確的,不過其中比較適合。

第一個的意思是【那旗子是我自己弄的】
第二個的意思是【是我做那旗子的】
嚴格來說第一句是正確的,而第二句比較少人會說。
