✔ 最佳答案
The ones we keep的主角是we,所以動詞是主動詞 the ones that are kept from us的主角是那個不讓我們知道他秘密的那個人(沒有實在地寫出來,是一種意會),我們(us)反過來是受者,所以意思是我們被別人的秘密隱瞞住。

No offence.
Secret 是 countable noun, 不是 uncountable noun. 請參考字典

Secret 因為可以數, countable noun 前面可以加 a, one
例子 keep a secret
如果是 plural form, secret 要加-s , 變了secrets,
e.g. many secrets, ten secrets
例子使用 secrets 有
military secrets, secrets of the universe

One 在這個句子不是用作 cardinal number, 例如 1, 2, 3
One 是用作 indefinite pronoun. 這個 pronoun 有 plural, 是 ones.
“Ones” replaces a plural countable noun “secrets” that has been mentioned
Another example:
Green apples often taste better than red ones. (“ones” replaces “apples”.)

we all have secrets ,the ones we keep and the ones that are kept from us

前面用主動- our own secret that we keep 我們自已的
,後面被動 - other people's secret that kept by others (= kept from us) 他人的

另外- 通常secret 是不能數的名詞uncountablenoun 所以沒有眾數-不用加s

the ones we keep
we 是 Subject, 執行 keep 的動作,而 the ones (secrets) 是 object,因此用 active voice.

the ones that are kept from us

that 是指 the ones (secrets) 在句子中是 subject,這個 subject 並非執行 keep 這動作而是受詞,所以用 passive voice.

one 是指 一個,而當有好多個獨立的一個出現時,用 ones。
