What do mobile masts do?
What research has been done about their danger?
Who is interested in the argument?

They have multiple radio antennas for (typically) 900 or 1800 MHz mobile phone systems.

They are completely harmless.

Radio is Electromagnetic energy, the same as visible light (just a different frequency or 'colour').
We get 1000 Watts of EM energy per square metre from the Sun on a clear day in the UK; it's more like 1500W at the equator.

Other than warming you up, it has no effect even at that power level.

The confusion and panic-mongering is down to the use of the word Radiation, which has become associated with something dangerous by association with Nuclear or Atomic radiation.

'Radiation' is is a pattern or shape - light radiates from a bulb, the spokes in a bike wheel radiate from the hub, ripples radiate from where you drop a pebble in water etc.
(It's from Radial lines in a circle - something spreading from a point).

EM radiation has nothing to do with (extremely dangerous) Atomic radiation.

Each antenna on a cell tower has power of something like 25 - 50 Watts.
Possibly 1000 - 1500 Watts total; if you could concentrate the whole tower down to a a square metre, it would just match the warming effect of tropical sun...

EM energy (radio or light) follows what's known as the 'inverse square law' for calculating intensity as any distance.

Each time you double the distance, the intensity is quartered. Four times the distance = 1/16th and so on.

At any distance from a cell antenna module, the intensity is tiny to the point it needs active electronics (like a radio receiver) to detect it.

Also, the antennas direct the power to some extent. Think of a domestic floodlight aimed just below horizontal, so the barest trace comes downward and most of the beam is lighting the ground a long distance away.

That's the idea with a cell system - to get the most area coverage from each tower, which means a weak but even signal over a very large area.

All in, you actually pick up many orders of magnitude more energy from your own phone that from cell towers.

The phone has a maximum of half a watt output (and if adjusts down to what's needed to maintain a connection).

If you literally buried yourself in phones, you would still be getting 100 times less EM energy than simply standing outside on a clear day.

Where there may be cash to be made, it is usual practice to miss and/or deliberatley suppress know-how about opposed health results this is additionally proper of drug medicine cars have been round a very long time and there only now looking at saftey measures and only in view that of public issues How so much harm microwave radiation explanations is arguable and it will depend on the strength of the signal and period of publicity - adults can overview the threat and make an informed alternative, but kids can't and are more susceptible to clever advertising and peer strain to comply. It has been proven that a establishing mind is extra susceptible to all sorts of electromagnetic radiation I believe its principal to position peoples saftey before revenue and its as much as the father and mother to investigate and come to a decision what will also be achieved to protect their kids
