一些關於 現在完成式 和 中譯 的問題

Jason is a great artist. Through his life, he has painted over one hundred paintings.
這句我在想，如果是 was 的話，是不是後面的要改成 was painted，還是改用 had painted？這句的中譯是？

如果換成for the past two weeks中譯還是一樣的，一樣是持續了過去兩週到現在。

如果折扣持續了過去兩週現在已經沒了：
The barkery had had a special discount for the last/past two weeks.
如果兩週前曾經有折扣：
The barkery had a special discount two weeks ago.

關於應該用last或past，網路上可以找得到一些教細膩的字辨，但一般使用上是允許通用的。

eg: For the past week, I have been drawing a picture.
There shouldn't be any present simple things in this sentence as it is FOR THE PAST WEEK. It also happens when it is changed into for the LAST week (people seldom use last week, but Past week instead, because there's a FOR before it) and for the TWO days.
