Fake people at work????????????

Why are people so sick at work? I only have a few more days left with this company, and people don't even want to talk to me anymore or have anything to do with me. I'm leaving the company because my contract is going to expire in a few days. It's not that I'm betraying them what so ever. What's wrong with those people? Perhaps, they probably have never thought me as part of the team at the beginning.
