any windows 7 virtual machine software that connects to your real machine?

so.... i have been using vmware 9 and it doesn't show any usb when i plug any in, and i can't access the wirless card with vmware, so... is there any windows 7 virtual machine software that connects to your real machine? ( i mean ones that litterally, shows all the real hardware and able to opreate them from the virtual machine) thx!

Oracle VM VirtualBox is a free alternative to VMWare.http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/virtualbox/downloads/index.html
Keep in mind, in a virtual machine, most of the 'hardware' are virtual hardware - like the Virtual Hard Disk. You do have access to the CD/DVD drives & you can move/copy files to/from the physical Hard Disc, but to use USB you must install the Virtual Machine Additions.
