Entrance RequirementsA Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering or the equivalent. Applicants should normally be in relevant employment. The programme is not intended for applicants who hold only the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination (HKALE) or Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) Examination results. Selection is based on various criteria, including an interview, work experiences, academic ability, motivation for pursuing the programme and, for those who are not recent graduates, evidence that they have kept abreast of some of the more important changes in technology and codes of practice.A written test on the fundamental technical aspects of civil engineering and the proficiency in English writing will be arranged.
