Catch up 意思是，與友人過了一段時間沒有見面或聊天不知道對方過得如何，現在久別重逢要暢談各自生活的狀況。

此處的意思是，估計是因為近來太忙，所以暫時只能與友人吃一頓飯（而這一頓飯的見面時間太短），之後再約時間出來細細長談。

Let us have the dinner banquet, meal first
When we have a moment in time and then fix a time for later schedules.
It means to catch up later on.
Then fix a time for shopping,
-- fix a time for friendship, Buz, etc.
