兩句子意思有分別嗎?
為何第一句 EXPECT TO後面要加BE STAYING?

1) How long do you expect to be staying in China?- people understand but not good English

2) How long do you expect to stay in China? - correct and proper English
or
How long will you stay in China? = same meaning 2) and more direct and proper English too.

兩句子意思沒有分別

兩句意思完全一樣,說法不同而已。
因為用 staying 所以要加 be。不然這句話會有兩個 verb,文法錯。
兩句都是問:你會在中國停留幾耐?expect 這裡是解【會】。

這句話不能用被動式,停留就是停留,不能是被停留。被停留就是被拘留。等於自殺就是自殺,不能是被自殺。被自殺就是謀殺。

第一句 EXPECT TO後面要加BE STAYING係因為個句係被動句,第2句係句主動
e.g.:I am eating an apple(主動)
An apple is being eaten by me(被動)
