What should I do about my parents?

respect their wishes until you graduate or at least turn 18

Had a friend in high school many years ago, who had a father that told her she could begin dating when he said she was old enough. He wasn't trying to punish her, but rather he was giving her the time she needed to mature to an age when she would be able to see with her own eyes and her own wisdom what guys were safe to go out with, and what guys just wanted to get into her pants on the first date.
Your parents sound OK to me, and you wouldn't take unnecessary risks with your own daughters because you'd love them, just like your parents love you.

"but I'm not I'm a teenager and they need to realize that. Im not a kid anymore"...so either you are 12 and need to close your mouth and obey your parents or you are 20 (or older) and need to grow up and be an adult. Either way you are too immature to be involved in a relationship.

Just because you're s teen doesn't mean you're an adult. Parents know what's best. Older guys are trouble.

This is really what they think. Thry don't want you to grow up. Parents never want their child to. Hoe old are you. And maybe it's because he's 3 year's older. They don't want you to get hurt or anything. Look that boy needs to go to your parents and tell them himself. He needs to tell them about his life and future. It's not that they don't trust you, they don't trust him. He needs to come by and meet them and be really kind and respectful. All you can do is hope for the best. They are just worried about you and care for you. Try to understand from their point of view. Good luck, girl! :)

Have more discussion and more communication. Try to understand the reasons why they don't trust you and your reasons why you think they should trust you, communicate!
