(i) Slit separation of grating = 0.05/10000 m = 5x10^-6 m Angular position of the second order bright fringe
= arc-sin(2 x 550 x 10^-9/5x10^-6) degrees
= 12.71 degrees
Hence, dispersion = 12.71/550 degrees/nm = 0.023 degrees/nm
(ii) Resolving power = 2 x 10000 = 20000
