這和more...than...比較兩者的用法無關。There's more to A than (just) B 可以視為一個句型，意思是"A不只是B"(A還有除了B以外的考量。)
A和B是被討論的對象，要用名詞形態。
There's more to life than just being alive. (生命的意義不單只是活著。)
There's more to parenting than just lecture. (教養子女不是只有訓戒。)
所以你這句的意思是
遊戲不是只有在螢幕上滑動或點按滑鼠。(不是只有這兩者才稱得上是遊戲，遊戲的範疇包含更多. )

該篇的主旨在說明playing games不該被誤解成只有電玩（點銀幕或敲滑鼠）而己，例如下棋也應算在內。
There are more than ~ing xxx and ~ing xxx.(比~ing xxx and ~ing xxx還要多，即games不是只有這兩種：More than A and B are there.）

還有比單是觸擊螢幕或按滑鼠更多種遊戲可選擇。 more to games : 遊戲不光只有電玩而已，例如還有board games(下棋)等等
