What happens to air as we walk?

For example, if i was sitting in a chair, and someone walked/jogged by me, would the air that touched them, be knocked towards me? Or would it just go back into the area where it was before the person moved there?

yes, some of it would be heading towards your direction, whereas others would fill back the gap that the person leaves. Hope this helps.
