A hemisphere is half of a sphere.
The volume of a sphere is v = (4/3)πr^3
So half a sphere will have half the volume.
V = (4/6)πr^3
r = d/2 = 22/2 = 11
V = (4/6)π(11^3)
The volume of a sphere is v = (4/3)πr^3
So half a sphere will have half the volume.

Sphere Volume = (4/3)(pi)r^3
Hemisphere volume = (2/3)(pi)r^3
if d = 22, r = 22/2 = 11
V = (2/3)(pi)(11^3) = 887.3(pi) = 2787.6

The formula for a sphere is 4/3 x pi x r^3 so the formula for a hemisphere may be 0.5 of that or: 2/3 x pi x r^3 so: 2/3 x pi x (22/2)^3 = 27,876.sixty 4 Wow! a superb form of incorrect solutions. Google the formula for a sphere; believe me, it is 4/3 x pi x r^3 no longer 4/3 x pi x r^2
