如圖,一物體置於傾角為θ的光滑斜面上。現在斜面向左以加速度a加速,使物體和斜面保持相對靜止。求a。

Let R be the normal reaction (法向反作用力) acting on the object, m be the mass of the object, and g be the acceleration due to gravity.

Hence, resolve R horizontally and vertically
R.sin(theta) = ma
R.cos(theta) = mg

Dividing, sin(theta)/cos(theta) = ma/mg
i.e. tan(theta) = a/g
a = g.tan(theta)
