Trumpet/Mermaid wedding dress is very hard to pull off since it asks for high requirements to brides who are going to wear them. For me, this kind of trumpet/mermaid wedding dress will be a dream for ever since i do not satisfy the basic rule for such an elegant style "the curves". :(
But i really love such a style and wanna to share two of them here.

Personally i prefer the 1st one (mermaid), this is such an elegant looking and make the wearer look like a mermaid. And what is your taste? Which one you prefer? :)

I like the first best, the second one is a little too fussy for me. If your dream is to wear the first dress then I think you should work to make your dream come true. And have you ever tried on such a dress? You may well be surprised. The dress may give you the curves you desire.

I love both. I'm very curvy and ended up with a mermaid/trumpet. I think they can look amazing on other shapes too. I suggest you go try them on and let your body decide.

I just like the outside layer of the dress. But the flower matters that hold up the outer layer to exhibit the lacy layers underneath, I simply do not know about all that. I agree with the poster above about purchasing a gown on-line. You could discover the clothier and who sells the gown close you. Or find a gown very similar and spot how that looks on you.

I prefer the clean lines of the first one, BUT the asymmetrical line of the second one will be a more flattering style. I would shop around for a mermaid style that is a mix of both. This website is very shopper friendly, you can narrow it down by mermaid styles, or by fabric, brand- whatever you want

Personally, I like the 1st one better. Lines are very clean and looks more elegant than the 2nd one.
