As long as it's not caffeinated it should be fine. Herbal teas are better for you and you should limit how much tea you drink. One cup a day probably won't hurt, so as long as you are drinking it occasionally and being careful not to add a lot of sugar it should be perfectly safe!

Depends entirely on the tea. Caffeine (dark teas or coffee) in excess is not good for you or your baby during pregnancy, but a little is not an issue (one or two cups a day). many green and herbal teas are quite good for you both.

It's fine in moderation. If you're guzzling down a couple of pots a day, it's probably a good idea to switch some of those pots to caffeine-free tea.

You dont want to drink tea with sugar too often because it can block the iron in your blood some how causing you to be anaemic.

I wondered the same thing and my doctor told me it is okay to drink once in awhile just not to put too much sugar into the tea and don`t overdue it either. My doctor always says nothing is too bad during pregnancy unless you overdue it.
