then just solve. subtract 7 from 11 then add 13.

so you would get: 4+13= 17.

= 11 - 11 + 4 +13
= 4+13
= 17

becomes 11-7+13

becomes 4+13

becomes 17

1) look well the - in front of (11 - 4) means to make everything opposite. like this
- (11 - 4) = (-11 +4)

so now you have

11(-11 +4) +13
