psn store £60 for a game that is £44.99 in shops?

seriously why do people pay this amount? and you have to wait to download it get no manual and is locked to the id that bought it WTF!!!!!

just something that pisses me off how expensive they are and then you find they are broken and have to pay more for what should of been in the game the 1st place! glad i use my pc for gaming free games all round

Yep that's a rip off. But so is the pen store anyway. If you want to download games for cheaper than in stores, check out steam. They got good deals and you get the copy forever. Which is a plus to disks.

It does indeed seem foolish to pay more than necessary. Is this something you have done or just a random gripe?

Some people don't like leaving their house.
Some people don't like having a physical copy.
Some people find it faster and easier than looking for it.
If it's an older game, then it could be hard to find in stores.
You can lose discs..

I prefer physical copies so I can resell them. :)
