About uk day travelcard?

I assume that you have purchased a single/return train ticket to London and has opted to have a travel card included. Firstly London is divided up into 9 zones starting with Zone 1 for central London out to Zone 9 for the furthest suburbs. You can use it to make unlimited number of journeys/changes on:

Tube, DLR, London Overground - Anywhere within the Zones on your Travelcard.

National Rail - Anywhere within the Zones on your Travelcard except on Eurostar, South Eastern High Speed rail link from St Pancres, Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect between Hays & Harlington and Heathrow Airport.

Buses - All London Buses including 24 hour buses, Night Buses and the two Routemaster bus routes,regardless of what zones you have (not valid on the private tour buses).

Croydon Tram Link - providing you have a travel card that includes zone/s 3,4,5 and/or 6

Your travel card is valid up until 4:30 am the day after the expiry date shown on it.This means that you can still use it on 24 hour/night buses after midnight on the expiry date shown.

1. It will be valid until 4.30 a.m. the following day.
2. You can use it from 4.30 a.m. on the date it is valid for.
3. Once you have a travel card, you do not need to pay for journeys within London in the zones specified on the card. The only places you can't use it for are Heathrow Express, Heathrow Connect and the Gatwick Express.

It expires at 04-29am on the day following the date of issue. It is valid on all forms of transport within the zones you have purchased - Underground, National Rail, London Overground trains, trams,
Docklands Light Railway. Cemtral London including Paddington and St Pancras are in Zones 1 and 2. They are valid on the whole of the red TFL red bus network. One Day Travelcards are not time restricted. One Day OFF PEAK travelcards are valid after 09-030am weekdays; anytime weekends
