a botanist grows 2 types of chrysanthemum (A and B) in a garden, of which 70% of the seeds are from type A. For these two types of chrysanthemum, 30% of type A and 40% of type B grow with big leaves. The color of petals(yellow or white) of each type is independent of the leaf size. in the garden, 30% of type A and 40% of type B have petals in yellow. find the probability of the following events happening.

1. A chrysanthemum has big leaves and petals in yellow. answer = 0.111

P(type A & big leaves & yellow)=0.7*0.3*0.3=0.063
P(type B & big leaves & yellow)=0.3*0.4*0.4=0.048

P(big leaves & yellow)
=P(type A & big leaves & yellow+P(type B & big leaves & yellow)
=0.063+0.048
=0.111 //
