i was at school today and there was this kid eating a orange but it was purple inside what was wrong?

Nothing was wrong. It's a variety of orange called the Moro orange or sometimes the blood orange which has red inside is purple.

There was nothing wrong with the orange. It is a special variety called 'blood orange'. It is also known by another name but I can't recall it at the moment. They are usually only available where I live during the winter months. They are not genetically altered, that is just the way they are, the same as some varieties of carrots are purple and some tomatoes are green.
