Beer A contains 8% of alcohol by volume and beer B contains 3% of alcohol by volume. The brewer mixes beer A and beer B to produce a new beer that contains 5% of alcohol by volume. How much beer A and beer B should he mix to produce 1000mL of new beer respectively?

Hi I am Marcoleongk89Today I am going to help you solve the equation
Let x ml be the amount of beer A should he mix
Then y ml be the amount of beer B should he mix
8%x + 3%y = 1000 *5%
x + y = 1000
And then solve it by using the method of elimination or graphical mehod or method of substitution
