How to improve my english writing in IELTS?

2013-02-02 5:25 am
I'm an international student who is preparing for my second IELTS exam. As with many other Asian students, I suffered from poor writing skills. For example, I often find it difficult to finish two short essays within an hour. Even I'm able to do so, the outcomes tend to be not impressive as I'm not able to form strong arguments or logical sound statements.

From your question above, I'd guess that your English writing skills are fairly advanced. That doesn't instantly mean you are capable of analysing a problem and defining logical and sound options for resolving it. This takes a lot of practice. The good thing is that you can practice in your own language.

I'm not sure if you are really doing this IELTS course to become some kind of philosophical genius problem-solver - you're there to master writing in English - focus on that.
