You are asked to reorganize 9 data files systematically in a new folder on the hard disk. Those files are originally stored in your Learning CD-ROM. You are also required to print the structure of the resulting folder with a printer.



Step 1:


Copy the files from the Learning CD-ROM to the hard disk.

(a) Create a folder ‘CH03EX’ in C drive.
(b) Run the Learning CD-ROM.
(c) Select ‘Sample Files’ ➞ ‘Chapter 3 Workbook’.
(d) Save a data file by pressing Save and a dialogue box appears. (e) Select the folder ‘CH03EX’. Press OK .
(f) Repeat steps (d) and (e) to save all the 9 data files.





Step 2:


Organize the files in the folder ‘CH03EX’ as shown in the following diagram.





Step 3:


View the created folder ‘CH03EX’ in Windows Explorer. Expand all sub-folders and make a screen capture to show the structure of the folders. With the help of drawing software (or any appropriate software), print the image and paste it into the box below.
