I would say B. discipline.英文 'discipline' 除了有紀律的意思外還有 (Social Science / Education) a branch of learning or instruction / a branch of knowledge / field of study 的意思。
我在大學的時候，也看過有關的用法。
相反，'category' 的意思較 general ...
It can be used in a set of objects and so forth...
