In the United States the class for the third level of study of Chinese can be called "Chinese 300"
How would you say "Chinese 300"? It seems too easy to say "中文300", and I assume there is a different system in China.
How would you say this in Chinese?

中文300 as the same as english "top 300 words"

In Taiwan, we always use "level" to range any kind of language classes from basic to professional.
Therefore, we might speak "the third level of Chinese" into "中文三級". How about "中文300"?? I do really have no idea. Maybe they are names from your Chinese reference book,,, but just maybe
