What are good wedding favors for kids between 1 and 18?

Give a soda pop, in a type that is not readily available, like a boutique soda.

give a tulle circle tied up with chocolates. the kids will love it. Or have custom M&Ms.
Any kind of food, sugar cookies decorated in a wedding theme, cake pops, candy caramel apples.

don't even bother with giving a favor to anyone under 3. It will get left on the table, or Mom and Dad will enjoy it.

I don't think kids really need favours per se. What I did when I had youngsters at a wedding, instead of a favour to take home, I made them loot bags and placed them at the tables they would be sitting at. Colouring books, crayons, little puzzle games, a whole bunch of stuff from the dollar store - that way they were kept busy and didn't get bored and the parents could enjoy themselves a bit more.

It was fairly simple to do that and everyone from like 5 - 10 would appreciate that. For the 10-18 years olds, just do more sophisticated loot bags - hair pins, a tie clip, then just do it by girl/boy

We did the gift bags, as well. We actually included a sandwich and chips in it, too. We didn't have that many kids there, but we were pretty sure they weren't interested in the adult menu and it saved us money with the caterer - but it was arranged with the kid's family and the caterer to avoid any disgruntled feelings. We also had board games available as well as coloring books and a general kids play area with puzzles and stuff. They didn't care if they had a favor at all.

Are you buying a separate bottle of wine for each guest or for each couple? The reason why I ask is that if you are giving one bottle of wine to Mr and Mrs Smith, then your "and family" guests do not need a separate favor.

Cookies or candy. Something edible.

Toddlers don't really need favors. Seriously they wont even understand whats going on.

I went to a wedding recently that had a candy bar. It was really cute and they had little bags so you could take the candy home with you as a little favor. This would be good for any age. I was 20 at the time and enjoyed it and kids always love candy...

Individual bottles of "Sparkling Cider" or you could make a special beverage (one kind).

Wedding Favour Ideas Under 1

No one is REQUIRED to give anyone anything. People going to a wedding gives gifts to the bride and groom and that's it.

Now that I think about it, even when people aren't giving an adult only favor, they don't pay attention to young kids. I've gotten a couple of favors that I love and still have, but a 5 year old wouldn't want them.

I do like candy bars. If you have some kind of seating chart, you could put little color coordinated bags where the uner-21 crowd is sitting. If you don't, it's a little trickier, because you'd need to find a polite way to indicate the candy bar is only for those who didn't get the wine. These are popular with all ages, and they're fun to set up. In fact, you might consider taking the money you'd save on the wine and just making this a favor for all. You could make it more elaborate, and if you put your colors into a search string and wedding candy bars, you'll see how cool some of them look.

About the best thing I can think of is to have some kind of edible favor for the under-age crowd, and anyone who isn't a drinker. Just about everyone likes yummy munchie stuff.
