關於must not還有can`t

must not 與 can't (can not) 在文法上的用法沒有不同, 都是否定形式助動詞, 後面要接動詞原型, 但表達的意思不同, can't 表示沒有能力做, must not 表示必須不能做 (當然你有能力做), 例如:

You cannot take this table away. 你不能把這桌子搬走 (也許太重搬不動)

You must not take this table away. 你一定不可以把這桌子搬走 (有能力搬但不准你搬)

還有一個 may not, 跟 must not 意思相近但沒 must not 那麼強烈.

You may not take this table away. 你不可以把這桌子搬走 (有能力搬但不准你搬)
