Correction:
He was already dead. 他已經死了
He was dead. 他死了

Do not confuse dead, which is an adjective, with died, which is the past tense and past participle of the verb die

Dead (adjective) = no longer alive
He was found dead in his car.
Her grandmother has been dead for ten years.
He found a dead body on the road.

Die (verb) = to stop living and become dead
Die is an intransitive verb. It cannot have an object.
You do not use any preposition after die, except “of” and “from”.

His father died last year at the age of 90.
His grandmother died peacefully lat night.
Her grandfather died of cancer.

Die後面可加 preposition phrase, 用不同 preposition.
He died in an accident.
He died for his country.

Die for 可解 渴望
He is dying for a beer.

He was died ~ 錯原因: died 不做 past participle, intransitive verb不能 passive voice.
