Admissions for Transfer Students
Transfer admissions priority is given to students who are US citizens, California residents, and are transferring from a California community college. This is according to California's Master Plan for Higher Education, the University of California Office of the President and the UC Berkeley faculty. In order for an application to be considered, applicants must meet the minimum eligibility requirements outlined below.

4-year College and/or Out-of-state Transfer Applicants
Students admitted as junior transfers to UC Berkeley's College of Letters & Science or other majors are NOT eligible to apply to the Haas Undergraduate Program. In addition, we cannot review applications from students who have already earned a bachelor's degree. Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Students preparing to apply to transfer to UC Berkeley for the business major must satisfy the following major-specific requirements for the Haas Undergraduate Program:
Prerequisites: All prerequisites for letter grades
Language: The foreign language requirement
Units: Completion of at least 60 semester (90 quarter) units
All courses required for admission must be completed by the end of the Spring semester prior to starting at the Haas School of Business. All courses must be UC transferable and at least 3 semester or 4 quarter units. California community college students must follow the most current Articulation Agreement between their school and UC Berkeley for the business administration major. This information can be found on the
www.assist.org web site by selecting the community college, then UC Berkeley, then the business administration major. The Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC) will not satisfy Haas School of Business requirements.
