i need to write a fairy tale i want it to be great not a cliche i wanted to write my own version of a fairy tale for a writing competition so if there any good fairy tales to write about please name a few??

talking about fairytale, usually will think of a fairy, somehow talking animals?or maybe knight and princess?(the knight that doesnt seem like a knight, and a princess that doesnt looked like a princess?)

Any version of a fairy tale is cliche.
Happily ever after versions have been done a million times and the creepy versions have been done by The Grimm Brothers and can't be topped.
