What's the difference between:

I ate my dinner.
I have eaten my dinner.

I saw Jenny.
I have seen Jenny.

I watched the movie.
I have watched the movie.

Aren't they the same?? I am a bit confused, thanks xD jajajaja

The difference is how you use your grammar, they are both the same, the second version of each sentence is just posher or politically correct as they say these days.
參考: For example : I am going to toilet (common) One is going to the water closet.(snobby)
