Applying for bankruptcy means that your client can get a break from debt collection.

If you know for sure your client has initiated bankruptcy proceeding, you should contact the Official Receiver's Office or your lawyer as soon as possible.

但可以跟你分享一下，如對方自行申請破產，則相信你能收回貨款的機會非常低！因如有資產對方也會先用來償債或轉移好才會主動申請破產！
相反如對方是被你或其他債權人先行申請他破產，則或許他仍有資產可供追討！
還有一點，縱使對方有資產或破產期間有收入上繳還債，以你的債務性質能取回全數貨款的可能性極低！
因破產管理署分配資產的優先次序是，第一是欠政府的錢（包括署方收取的行政費用），其次是僱員欠薪（如有），接著是有抵押品的債權人，然後才是其他合約債務的債權人！那請想想縱有又能分得多少呢？
